YAYYYYYY!!! I finally got my FIRST of MANY.. Melody Ehsani custom ring *** See my picture above. And YES! It is huge and YES! I heart it and YES! I can still play piano with it :)

I love love love all her accessories and shoes... You can see many celebs rocking out in Melody Ehsani pieces, such as Rihanna, Keri Hilson, Alicia Keys, Angela Simmons, ?uestlove, LMFAO, Ciara and the list goes on and on... She is an LA based designer who grew up in a traditional Persian household who steered away from a law school route and decided to embrace the fact that she was placed here to design beautiful pieces of art...

I love her ability of making the pieces extravagant and speak for themselves.. (great for someone like me who loves to wear solid color clothing and have my accessories outshine my outfit )...I don't know her personally **hoping 1 day our paths will cross** but I always go to her blog and she seems like an all around cool a$$ chick who is about letting her creativity speak for her thru her designs...Not for nothing, reading her vision on her site is what really made me heart her that much more... Me and her have something real deep in common, she wants her fashions to make women feel empowered and confident... Like she says "sexy, classy, bold with an unshakeable driving purpose"... That is very similar to me because I wish for my music to speak to women around the world, reminding them what we are capable of.. Capable of making hip hop tracks like the big boys ;).. but I am not even going to get into all that right now..

Bottom line, her jewelry is amazing, AFFORDABLE, chic and aggressive all in one... I LOVEEEEE IT.. Not to mention her initials are M.E and she often credits herself by saying "Designed by M.E." which is fabbo:) ..

My brother from another mother Mr. DJ Mutha Effing Ethics will be gracing us with his presence tonight and tomorrow night ... Tonight he will be spinning at Cabana One in the Grove at the Mayfair Hotel and tomorrow night he will spinning on the set of "Magic City Memoirs" House party that will be going on in Key Biscayne.. Everyone come out and show love.. I am sure u will see me there dancing to some MJ because I fully intend on requesting MJ for a while ...

I can't believe that the two post I put today have to do with death of legends.. It has been confirmed by LA Times that Michael Jackson has also passed today .. I remember me and my brother trying to learn all of his choreography in "Remember the Times".. we actually had it down pretty good :)... MICHAEL IS A LEGEND! POINT BLANK PERIOD! This is a huge loss and I am getting teary eyed right now just thinking about the fact that he passed.. He has impacted music at such a young age and has till this day.. I can't keep talking about it, I am getting really sad ..

YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN MICHAEL !! NEVER.. YOU ARE TRULY A LEGEND IN MY EYES!!

So the other day I was in a chat and I actually read people write such atrocities like “Eff the Beatles” and “ The Beatles Suck” and what not… I seriously couldn't believe people are that ignorant about legendary musicians… I am not going to go on a whole schpeal about how amazing the Beatles are because if you don’t know that then you really need to take a course on music immediately if not sooner... I decided to add a video that speaks volumes and a track that has influenced millions upon millions of people...

Here goes The Beatles “Come Together” it was their first single in 1969 off their album Abbey Road... Just do a little research, check to see how many and who has covered this song or any song by The Beatles for that matter...

Can our youth please stop “Halle Berrying”, “Ricky Bobbying” or whatever new dance there is and pay homage to the men and women before us that are credited for making legendary music...

I am naturally drawn to Tom Ford sunglasses but these are Tom Ford's "Yvette" (Secretly, I wish they were spelled Ivette) …They are from an old collection but I still heart them very much, especially since they have such a beautiful name like Yvette, Ha!… You can get these at EyeGoodies for a mere $324…

Lauryn Hill (my all time favorite Female singer/rapper/songwriter) canceled her European tour due to health issues… I wish her well and I pray that she gets better and makes her way to US with a quick stop in Miami *fingers crossed*… Here goes my FAVORITE song that she made… This song can make me cry the minute I hear the first guitar string played... “I get mad when you walk away, so I tell you leave when I mean stay” <- Oh Lauryn you are a legend in my eyes…

She is definitely one of my inspirations and she will never be forgotten… Here she is singing “Quimbara” with The Fania All Stars… Her energy is amazing and remained that way until her last days.... Then just look at how live Johnny Pacheco would get… This is legend ish …RIP La Reina!

I have been looking for some good live footage of the Slaughterhouse men….Thanks to 2dopeboyz post on vimeo, I was able to get this of them performing live @ The Key Club… I can’t wait for their album to come out (supposedly in August but who knows) Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5’9’’ and Crooked I are great combination of styles and lyrics… I am real tight that Rock the Bells isn’t coming to Miami this year, especially when Slaughterhouse is part of the line up … SMH :(

I love when lyrics are interpreted in videos literally … not just some video that has nothing to do with the song .. it happens more often than not… this video is probably the best example of putting images to words… All in all this video does make me “Smile” ….

I know I am not the only one between the ages of 23 and 30 that doesn't find this hiiiilarious... I really like Inca bathing suits and their cover ups are really sophisticated and sexy, so their fashion show should be fun... Hit me up if your going ...

Let's Talk about Techs....

Yesterday was the infamous WWDC for Apple Products, and if you know me well you know that I rep Apple like if it was a gang... They finally announced the official deets on the iPhone 3GS... Before I even heard the new features on the iPhone I was already trying to pre-order it, BUT THEN the bomb dropped.. At&T (<--Thieves) and Apple have an agreement that LOYAL iPhone customers have to wait out 18 months from the time they last purchased the iPhone before they get the discounted price (3 papes) for the 32GB 3GS... Now lets do the math... If I bought the 3G when it 1st came out Mid-July 2008, that would mean I can't upgrade at a discounted price until Jan. 2010... which means ME (the loyal custee since the 1st Gen iPhone) has to pay 5 PAPERS for the 3GS ... how does that make sense ??? Sooo the conclusion is no iPhone 3GS for me unless At&t and Apple get there act together cuz you got me effed up if you think I am paying another 5 papers for the new 3GS... With the 3G update coming June17th the only difference between my current phone and the 3GS is video recording, voice command, 3GS is somewhat faster and a compass... I am not going anywhere anytime soon where I would need a compass, I have a digital camara that records video perfectly and I know I am lazy but not lazy to the point that I would spend 1/2 a G on a phone with voice command... I'm just saying...

To kick off my blog I want to start with some things that have caught my eye recently...These right here (*Katt Williams Voice*) are def. the business... I mean really, they have the words "Que Mujer!" on them and they happen to be Christian Louboutin's... How can you go wrong with that? So if your trying to spend this month's rent ($995) on some shoes, pick these up... And if your trying to spend this month and next month's rent, my shoe size is 6 1/2 :)
